Any student wanting to participate in a on-campus production with the department.

Policy Language

Students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher at the beginning of each semester in order to be considered for shows.

Policy Rationale

Participation in a production requires at least 20 hours of work per week which could possibly hinder the academic progress of a student in academic trouble. This is for the protection of the student as well as the production.

Procedures

There is a list of all students who auditioned/interviewed for productions is sent to Registrar. The Registrar returns the list with all of the GPAs listed. If a student is below the minimum, he/she will not be selected for the company of the show.

Exceptions

Once students raise their GPAs to the minimum, then they may be considered for the current and future productions.
